Brisbane Airport has 3 terminals. The International, the Domestic and a freight and cargo terminal. Together with Sydney, Melbourne and Perth, the airport has had its terminals modified and improved to cater for the 2 story Airbus A380. There's an inter-terminal train service linking domestic and international terminals and these depart every 15 minutes ( free if you show your boarding card for your connecting flight). The car parks are very handy and full of waiting rental cars and the bus, train and taxi collection points are directly outside the terminal exits.
Brisbane Airport is on a coastal bypass of the main CBD and acts as a gateway to the Gold Coast in the South and the Sunshine Coast in the North. The Brisbane Airport still produces a huge volume of the regions transit despite the International and Domestic capabilities of the Coolangatta Airport and the growing options offered directly into Maroochydore.
So have a great time where ever you are flying out to from Brisbane Airport.
