1. South Bank Parklands -South Bank Lagoon is definitely one of the best water parks for Kids. It’s a  free water park and it is right in the middle of the city. 2. Redcliffe Lagoon – Redcliffe Lagoon is on the Northside of Brisbane and is a popular getaway for Brisbane families wanting some FREE and fun water play with their Brisbane Kids. There are slides, fountains and a lovely ocean theme for kids to enjoy. It is a water park with heaps of shade, bbq facilities, a playground and lots of room to swim with varying depths. Accommodates for disabled people with ramped entry to pool. Finish off the fun with some yummy local fish and chips.
3. Robelle Domain, Springfield – Robelle Domain is the newest attraction in Springfield being a huge WOW playground with a cafe built right in the middle. There are loads of fountains and different water features not to mention a huge parklands with numerous picture opportunities.
4. Rocks Riverside Park – Rocks Riverside Park at Seventeen Mile Rocks is more of a toddler paddling paradise than a pool. With numerous bathing pools, fountains and shaded areas, this is a popular outing for Brisbane Mums and Dads with their kids. There is also a playground, BBQ facilities and numerous space for picnics.
5. Wynnum Water Park – Wynnum Water Park is located in the breezy suburb of Wynnum and comes with the all the ocean smells and enjoyment such as open space and the smell of fish and chips. It features a playground shaded by trees  and overlooks a calm beach perfect for Toddlers and mums with bubs.

Theme Parks

It is part of the Daisy Hill Conservation Park, comprising 435 hectares of open eucalypt forest and is a popular bushland retreat.

Brisbane Forest Park

Take a walk through the bush on Brisbane’s doorstep. Brisbane Forest Park is located at The Gap and is part of D’Aguilar National Park, which has 14 separate recreation areas, over 30km of walking tracks and 60km of tourist roads.

Boondall Wetlands

The Boondall Wetlands Reserve at Boondall offers an insight to the flora and fauna of Moreton Bay. At the wetlands’ environment Centre you can learn about the importance of preserving natural areas. You can also enjoy a picnic, traverse walking tracks, go for a bike ride or bring a canoe to explore the wetlands from the water.
